75w Halogen Landing Lights

These landing lights were designed to fit Van's "Sheared" style wing tips, but have also been installed in Rockets and Lancairs...

All the parts to complete the landing light installation, such as the lamps & sockets, front cover/mounting plates, lamp housings, all necessary hardware, and installation instructions are included in the kit... What won't be in the kit is the wing tips, wing tip cut-outs, lenses, Nav or Strobes lights...

The lamps supplied are 2" diameter 75w Halogen lamps in a 12 degree spot beam in either 14v or 28v configurations... @ 14v these lamps draw about 5.4 amps each and @ 28v these lamps draw about 2.7 amps each...

While I designed the kit to be as easy as possible to install, it will still need to fit several different wing tips, so the front cover/mounting plates will be left oversized and will need to be cut to fit your particular wing tip. Also, although the area where the lights will mount is small, each builder may have a better idea of where the light should be and how the cover plate should mount to the tip, the front cover/mounting plates will not be drilled for mounting holes or for the beam itself, I will however include a template for marking and drilling for the holes to mount the bulb housing...

These landing lights are also designed to be serviceable without removing the wingtip... You simply remove the entire assembly if lamp replacement is necessary...
